If you believe you have enrolled your child in our preschool and did not receive this letter via e-mail or in the mail, please contact us to make sure we have your correct address. If you have e-mail, please make sure our address is on your "white list" or in your address book so your spam filter doesn't block messages from us.

Your child’s first day of school is the parent Open House. Please make arrangements to attend. At this time you will meet your child’s teacher and there will be a brief presentation about the school year. It will probably only last about an hour. Children will play in the classroom while parents are listening to the presentation.

Sept. 2 (Tues.) Open House for Parents / First Day for students, AM classes 9:00, PM classes 12:30 (Mon. / Tues. classes)

Sept 3 (Wed.) Open House for Parents / First Day for students, AM classes 9:00, PM classes 12:30 (Wed. / Thurs./ Friday classes)

WHAT TO BRING:

Please bring a picture of your child (with name on the back) so we can make a placemat with their picture on it. (We will also take a digital picture of your child for our bulletin board.)

All new students: need to complete all required forms. Medical forms and DCFS verification of receipt need to be turned in on your child’s first day of school. Please make sure that all immunizations are up to date and medical forms are completely filled out. Please ask your physician about the TB skin test, this is required by DCFS to place your child in our facility. If your physician does not feel that the test is needed at this time he/she must attach a note stating that the child is not at risk.

For students who were in the program last year, we will keep your child’s records on file. You will be given an opportunity to update your information at the open house. You should have received a new 2005-06 handbook in your mailbox. Please hang on to it and bring it with you to the open house.

A list of 12 people and their addresses for our Computer for Education Fund Raiser. This is our easiest fund raiser. Each student is given a booklet to fill out with friends and family members. IF YOU BRING THE ADDRESSES ON THIS DAY YOUR CHILD WILL RECEIVE A PRIZE!!!!!!! If you have five members in your family, you can put a family member on each page. We receive money for each name turned in regardless of subscriptions purchased. If your child happens to get 2 new subscriptions or renewals they will receive a T – shirt.

Record sheet with changes / updates for our database. Enclosed is a record sheet of the information we have collected from you for our database. Please make corrections / updates to any outdated information or typos. Please let us know if you move, change phone numbers or e-mail addresses over the school year, so we can continue to contact you. Please indicate the best way to communicate with you: e-mail or printed notes in your child’s mailbox.

Payments: Please check and make sure your $60 registration fee and first month’s tuition payments have been paid in full. These payments are required to secure your spot.

SUPPLIES TO BRING:

Backpack: Your child needs to have regular sized back pack, not a small one. If their back pack is not big enough your child’s papers will get crunched and torn.

Every year we ask the students to bring in items to help keep cost down throughout the year. For this school year we are asking each child to bring:
