In the FallSwedish Pancake Breakfastat the Stillman Valley Firefighter's Hall during the Stillman Valley Fall FestivalSaturday September 24th 7:00 - 10:00amMenu Two Swedish Pancakes, Lingonberries, Sausage, Milk, Juice, and Coffee.Cost $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children ages 10 and under, $2.00 for two additional pancakes. Takeout orders available. All proceeds from this event will help our students attend Covenant Habor & Covenant Point Summer Bible Camps. Everyone is invited and encouraged to join us for great food, and fellowship as we support the youth with our fundraising efforts!  Find out about our new F2UN Family, Friends, Unity Night In the WinterLuminary Night - Sunday December 9 at 5:30-7:30Building Christmas Memories on Luminary Night Each year for the past two years, we have offered a community event called Building Christmas Memories during Luminary Night in Stillman Valley. We want to take advantage of the fact that people are walking or driving around looking at the luminaria around town.The memories we help folks build are these: kits for families to make their own Nativity Sets. No paint or glue, just simple assembly that's fun for all ages. The figures are made of wood and fabric that have been cut and painted by Valley Covenant volunteers. In 2005, we provided a stable, Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, and a manger. In 2006, everyone made shepherds and sheep. This year, of course, it will be the wisemen that you'll be assembling. If you've missed one or both of the previous years, there will be complete kits available so that you can fill in what you lack. Some people have even made an extra set to take to someone who is sick or shut in. While making the sets, of course, you have the perfect opportunity to talk about the Christmas story and the real meaning of the season with your children. This is a good opportunity for a Christmas activity for families, grandparents and grandchildren, neighbor children, etc. From 5:30-7:30 we will have the usual Christmas music, fire in the fireplace, and cookies, coffee, hot chocolate, that add to a wonderful Christmas family night in December. In the SpringMaundy Thursday Service - Date & Time TBACommunity Wide Good Friday Service Date & Time TBA Easter Sunday Morning 8:00 - Worship with Choir 9:15 - Easter Brunch & Fellowship (free will offering for camp fund) 9:45 - Sunday School for all ages 10:45 - Worship with Worship Band In the SummerKing's Camp Service Mid August - Date & Time TBA Baptism in the Lake will follow the service. Join us for the Sunday School Potluck Picnic. Bring a hot & cold dish to pass, your own table service and lawn chairs if you like. Drinks will be provided. After lunch the beach area will be open for swimming, and there will be lots of other activities, so plan to stay. Check out King's Camp's website for a map. Come and see what King's Camp has to offer! The loose offering will go to the camp. Anything labeled for our church or in our church envelope will go to our church. Thanks for your faithfulness! Volunteers Needed: Our part-time church secretary, Karen Carlson, is working several more hours than her position budget allows her to be paid for. Yvonne Raymond has been volunteering a few hours each Monday morning, which has been a big help. We're keeping up with producing regular publications and other items, but there are projects and non-critical tasks that are getting left behind in and around the office. So we're looking for more volunteers, either on a one-time project or as a regular office assistant. Some of these tasks could be done by Discipleship/Confirmation students as ministry hours.
